Seeking a part-time wedding industry-savvy virtual sales & marketing assistant – Help us grow while making a difference (flexible hours)

But when it comes to follow-ups, client outreach, and keeping up with sales and marketing initiatives, I know I need a dedicated professional who can take these crucial tasks off my plate and help drive growth.

As a consultant, speaker, and industry expert, I manage high-level responsibilities requiring focus. But I need the right virtual sales and marketing assistant—someone who understands the wedding industry, has strong communication and organizational skills, and can help me with outreach, social media follow-ups, and marketing execution.

My Ideal Candidate:

  • Has wedding industry experience
  • Has great communication and follow-up skills—someone who can keep conversations warm and moving forward
  • Is extremely organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple projects at once
  • Has a friendly, professional, and persistent approach to client relations
  • Can work independently but isn’t afraid to ask questions when needed
  • Has creativity, initiative, and resourcefulness
  • Understands how to write in an engaging, persuasive way—whether for proposals, emails, or social media
  • Is social media savvy
  • Has strong networking skills
  • Tech savvy, proficient in Google Workspace
  • Can work with broadcast email and texting apps

Key Responsibilities:

Follow-up & Client Outreach:

  • Follow up on unaccepted proposals to rekindle interest and close sales
  • Follow up on inquiries that saw me speak, filled out contact forms, and had contacted me in the past.
  • Engage with existing clients to request reviews and testimonials

Sales & Marketing Support:

  • Assist in writing and refining proposals that speak directly to potential client’s needs
  • Create and schedule email broadcasts to nurture leads and maintain client relationships
  • Help with other sales and marketing initiatives that drive engagement and conversion

Social Media & Content Creation:

  • Manage social media accounts and create engaging content tailored for wedding industry professionals and couples
  • Assist in developing social media strategies that align with our brand and sales goals
  • Monitor engagement and respond to comments/messages as needed

Preferred Skills & Experience:

  • Experience in the wedding industry (whether marketing, sales, or event-related)
  • Strong writing skills—especially for sales, email outreach, and social media
  • Familiarity with social media platforms like Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, and Pinterest
  • Experience using email marketing platforms (such as Mailchimp, ConvertKit, or similar)
  • Basic knowledge of CRM systems and tracking follow-ups (experience with HubSpot, HoneyBook, or Dubsado is a plus)
  • A proactive, go-getter attitude—you love making things happen!

I’m looking for up to 20 hours a week to start, with a flexible schedule. Compensation is based on experience and can increase within months based on performance. Additional incentives for performance will be considered.
